Former World Mixed Relay silver medallist Naomi Korir finished fourth in Heat Two in 4:31.80, with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) 1,500m champion Rosemary Longisa crossing fifth in 4:32.02, as both secured qualification for Saturday's final.
