The 5-year-old was declared dead at the scene in the village of Badsey in Worcestershire last night. Dozens of locals formed search parties to try and find the missing child after an alert was put out on Facebook. A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: ‘Officers were called to a report of a missing child in Badsey yesterday evening. ‘Sadly, the child was found unresponsive in a body of water, and a short time later was pronounced dead.
