The driver of the Mercedes ultimately slipped into a downturn LA parking lot. Eight motorcycle riders swarmed the GLC during the chase, doing wheelies. Local media reports the chase started at just after 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the North Hollywood area. Police quickly determined that the GLC was stolen and that the driver may have been armed with a gun. Eventually, the driver pulled off the freeway and into downtown Los Angeles, where the driver is said to have pulled into a parking garage.
