Jordan directs and stars as Crown in the third screen iteration of the tale, and the footage frames the theft less as a rich man’s sport than as a mission with a conscience.
That motive reshapes the cat-and-mouse structure the franchise is known for, with Adria Arjona playing the former FBI agent hunting Crown heist by heist and Kenneth Branagh lurking as an insidious antagonist threatening to bring him down.
Jordan has been explicit about why he rebuilt the story from the ground up.
Jordan produces alongside Elizabeth Raposo for Outlier Society, with Charles Roven for Atlas Entertainment, plus Patrick McCormick and Toberoff Productions’ Marc Toberoff.
The Thomas Crown Affair opens in theaters on March 5, 2027.
