Designed with Crosby Studios, the space merges historic details with stainless steel. Italian fragrance house AVAU has officially opened its first permanent home at Via Fiori Chiari 7 in Milan‘s historic Brera district. Rooted in the Catalani siblings’ family heritage, the boutique reflects AVAU’s guiding principle of “A Promise Made Scent,” offering visitors an immersive environment that encourages conversation, discovery and connection. In a notable creative collaboration, AVAU partnered with designer Harry Nuriev and his multidisciplinary practice Crosby Studios to bring the space to life. Its upholstery is inspired by the frescoes of Vatican City, paying homage to the founders’ grandparents, who once operated a perfumery inside the Vatican.
