The Bartholomew County prosecutor is arguing for longer sentences after a man was sentenced on a felony public indecency charge. Superior Court 1 Judge Jim Worton handed down the maximum sentence at the sentencing hearing Tuesday. Prosecutor Lindsey Holden praised the deputy prosecutors who presented the case and Worton for the maximum sentence. However in a written statement, she said the maximum sentence should be made longer, “for offenders like Mr. Albertson who continue to commit these disturbing crimes, the maximum penalty should be greater. Cases like this highlight the need for stronger penalties for repeat offenders who continue to victimize innocent people.”
