Agartala, July 30: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Thursday officially concluded the 2026 academic session with the declaration of the Year-Saving (Bachhar Bachao) examination results, bringing the curtain down on this year’s Madhyamik (Secondary) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination cycle.
Announcing the results at a press conference, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gan Choudhury said the declaration of the Year-Saving examination results marks the formal completion of the 2026 board examinations.
He pointed out that while the main examination results were announced on May 24 this year, compared to April 30 in 2023, the Year-Saving results were published on July 30, a few days later than last year’s July 24 announcement.
TBSE Secretary Dr. Jaydeep Chakraborty said 292 schools achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the Madhyamik examinations, reflecting consistent academic performance across the state.
The board also reported that 66 Higher Secondary schools registered a perfect pass rate, highlighting academic excellence despite the overall success rate remaining slightly lower than last year’s.
