After major financial difficulties, and players speaking out not being played, North Wales avoided liquidation after former owner Jamie Elkaleh took control back at the club. Evans said: "I’m incredibly excited to be joining North Wales Crusaders at such an important time for Welsh Rugby League. "There are some exciting changes ahead, and I genuinely believe this is the start of a new era for North Wales Crusaders.
