West Yorkshire Police officers from Operation Steerside, along with Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team, carried out a close pass operation on Otley Road yesterday, July 29. The operation was part of ongoing efforts to improve the safety of cyclists and other vulnerable road users. Drivers dealt with 'accordingly'The operation resulted in one vehicle being found to have no valid insurance, while another had defective brake lights. Two other drivers were stopped after passing the police cyclist too closely.
