A project to develop a 72-acre site into a regional park in Glen Burnie is facing pushback from residents following a public meeting Tuesday. Residents told WBAL-TV 11 News they are concerned that placing a large public park next to a quiet neighborhood could increase traffic, crime and bring loud construction noise. The master-planning process for Marley Creek Regional Park is now in its second-to-last phase, which involves presenting a draft plan to the public for additional feedback.
