Peckers has put forward for the awards which recognises UK's best independent takeaways, with voting taking place from August 11 to 25. Rishi Chandarana, who founded the business alongside his brother, Sanjay, said he was "super proud" to see Peckers nominated. Peckers has been nominated the in Just Eat Awards 2026. Rishi and Sanjay launched Peckers in Hitchin back in 2023, opening their first site in Westmill's John Barker Place, where their grandfather ran an off-licence for more than 40 years.
