Ahmed Jama, 50, from Camden, was discovered on Hungerford Road in Islington at 04:00hrs on Friday, July 10 following reports of an assault. Detectives arrested Mohamed Touitha, 23, of Melyn Close, Islington, on Tuesday, July 28 on suspicion of murder. He was charged with murder the following day and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 30. Another man, aged 24, was arrested in Islington on Wednesday, July 22 on suspicion of murder and has been released on police bail. Two women, aged 18 and 19, were arrested on Sunday, July 12 on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remain on bail.
