Kent all-rounder Joey Evison is to leave the county at the end of the 2026 season to join Sussex on a three-year contract. The 24-year-old, who was a key part of the Spitfires' One-Day Cup-winning side in 2022, has signed an all-format deal with Sussex. He will be reunited with former Kent coach Matt Walker, who takes charge at Hove next season. "After four good years with Kent, I'm really looking forward to joining up with Sussex," Evison told Sussex's website, external. "I really enjoy playing there and I can't wait to work with Matt Walker again."
