Attorney Benjamin Crump has filed subpoenas against five major tech companies on behalf of the parents of Nolan Wells, an 18-year-old Mississippi teenager who was found dead days after a July 4 boating trip. Wells went to Horn Island off the Mississippi coast with a group of friends on July 4. According to authorities, his friends returned from the island without him, but brought back his cell phone. Upon getting his phone back, Wells’ parents, Christine Wonsley and Elmore Wonsley, noticed missing content from his social media accounts. An independent autopsy conducted by the family listed Wells’ cause and manner of death as undetermined.
