Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was also cited for possessing an open container in his vehicle after his arrest for operating while intoxicated in Wisconsin last week. Fox News Digital obtained the three citations issued to Romo, which included "possess open intoxicants in MV-Driver" after an "open bottle of an alcoholic beverage was observed on the passenger side of the vehicle." When asked to step out of the vehicle, Romo said, "Because I’m coming from a golf course, you think I’m drunk?" Police detained Romo and transported him to a nearby station to conduct field sobriety tests. Romo was driving after playing his round in the Wisconsin Amateur Golf Championship.
