Zoe Mason, 30, launched Izzy’s Way to fight for better accessibility and inclusion for disabled people in the county.
Zoe's daughter Izzy (Image: Zoe Mason)A big part of the Izzy’s Way campaign is recognising the “quiet discrimination” that many people with disabilities face.
“The reason I named it Izzy’s Way was the idea that, as Izzy grows up, Cumbria becomes more inclusive and welcoming for her,” said Zoe.
The florist was a nurse for ten years before she gave up her career to be able to support Izzy.
