More than half (52 per cent) of adults class maintaining friendships as a 'second job', according to a study.
In a poll of 2,000 UK adults many said organising social events, maintaining chat group conversations and meeting up in person is nearly as time-consuming as a proper job.
Only 14 per cent choose to spend their spare time on socialising - with hobbies and exercise taking preference.
White Claw created the project to show its commitment to bringing people together, the drinks brand partnered with Cliq a social networking app on a joint mission to make 50,000 new friends this year.
