JNTU-Hyderabad, Bajaj Auto sign MoU to launch Rs 18-crore BEST CentreJNTU-Hyderabad and Bajaj Auto Limited have signed an MoU to establish the BEST Centre on campus.
Backed by an Rs 18-crore investment, the initiative will introduce robotics and electric mobility training into undergraduate engineering courses to enhance students' industry readiness.
By Telangana Today Published Date - 30 July 2026, 03:13 PMHyderabad: To bridge the gap between industry and academia by integrating cutting-edge, industry-oriented training into the undergraduate engineering curriculum, JNTU-Hyderabad and Bajaj Auto Limited on Wednesday signed an MoU to establish the Bajaj Engineering & Skills Training (BEST) Centre on the university campus here.
As part of this initiative, Bajaj Auto Foundation, CSR arm of Bajaj Auto Limited, will establish state-of-the-art laboratories with an investment of Rs 10 crore for the robotics and automation vertical, and around Rs 8 crore for the e-mobility vertical.
JNTU-Hyderabad Vice Chancellor Dr T Kishen Kumar Reddy, Rector Dr A Damodaram and Registrar Dr A Jaya Laxmi, among others, were present during the MoU exchange.
