Waterlogging, infrastructure works trigger massive traffic jams across HyderabadThree days of continuous rainfall, coupled with ongoing infrastructure projects, caused widespread traffic congestion across Hyderabad. Waterlogged roads, potholes, and diversions disrupted commuting in several major areas, forcing motorists to take alternate routes and endure long delays. Under the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), severe waterlogging caused by deep potholes and ongoing infra works at key stretches forced motorists to struggle through traffic jams and slow vehicular movement. Commuters had no option but to avoid Safilguda, Anand Bagh underpass and Mirjalguda crossroads due to heavy water accumulation, and proceeded through alternate routes to reach Secunderabad. Severe waterlogging was noticed on Anand Bagh, Safilguda, Chilkalgud and Bible House stretches.
