Students across the Santa Clarita Valley will soon be heading back to the classroom as local school districts prepare to begin the 2026-27 academic year throughout August.
Castaic Union School District will be the first district in the Santa Clarita Valley to welcome students back for the 2026-27 school year with classes beginning Monday, Aug. 10.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet teachers during Back-to-School Nights, scheduled for Aug. 25 at all junior high schools and Aug. 27 at all high schools.
