This morning, landslide incidents occurred in Rudraprayag, Chamoli, and Uttarkashi, disrupting the Char Dham Yatra route. In Uttarkashi, traffic was disrupted on the Yamunotri National Highway (NH-134) near Janki Chatti after debris and rocks fell from a hillside. An 'orange alert' for heavy to very heavy rain has been issued for Bageshwar, Nainital, Champawat, and Pithoragarh. Meanwhile, a 'yellow alert' for heavy rain has been issued for Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Chamoli, Pauri, Tehri, and Udham Singh Nagar.
