Gorham’s Gift, a legacy trust, owns a collection of historic homes, farm buildings and land in Telscombe Village. The charity was established after the death of Ambrose Gorham in 1933 and is now administered by Brighton and Hove City Council, via the charity. Trustees help shape the future of the charity and offer guidance to help keep Gorham’s original vision – to protect and celebrate Telscombe Village – alive. Gorham’s Gift traditionally has three trustees appointed from current Brighton and Hove City Council councillors, a representative of the council’s chief executive and two co-opted trustees. Brighton and Hove City Council is helping with the recruitment of the new trustee.
