'Urgent' repairs to beach footpath to begin next week

The works, which involve the footpath at East Beach in Selsey, will start on August 3, and are expected to last for around four days.
The repairs involve urgent resurfacing works to damaged areas of the path in order to maintain safety and access.
They will be carried out from just north of Drift Road in the north, to Lifeboat Way in the south.
The footpath runs along East Beach (Image: Google)A small temporary storage compound will be utilised at the East Beach car park for the duration of the repairs.
East Beach is expected to remain open while the repairs are carried out.
