The vehicles, which include approximately 25 caravans, have been pictured at East Beach Green in Littlehampton today (July 30). Arun District councillor for Beach Ward, Billy Blanchard Cooper, confirmed that he had been informed of the "unauthorised encampment". He said: "Arun District Council, West Sussex County Council, and Sussex Police have all been made aware, and West Sussex County Council will attend the site as soon as possible to begin the legal process to regain possession of the land." It comes as more than 50 vehicles have now pitched up in Eastbourne.
