(CBS 58) -- JCC Rainbow Day Camp is providing visually impaired children an equal opportunity in athletics. The summer camp partnered with Vision Forward for a week of adaptive sports fun on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31. According to Vision Forward, an estimated 70% of school aged children who are blind, have never participated in sports or physical activities. Vision Forward says they are committed to changing that statistic. Vision Forward has aimed to help people who are visually impaired achieve their goals or over 100 years.
