The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) has decided to establish seven National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hubs across Pakistan under the National AI Advancement Initiative, according to official documents. A Request for Proposals (RFP) has already been issued for the establishment of the seven AI Hubs. The AI Hubs will focus on developing artificial intelligence solutions for several key sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, education, fintech, and smart cities. The initiative will also include two national AI hackathons and four AI awareness sessions to encourage innovation, collaboration, and public engagement in artificial intelligence.
