The Federal Trade Commission is accusing online health provider Hims & Hers of illegally sharing customers' health information with third-party advertising platforms, including Meta.
However, the FTC says numerous consumers have complained to Hims & Hers for years about its unfair trade practices.
But the 48-page complaint notes that Hims & Hers can share certain "Events"—actions taken by visitors to the company's website—with third-party advertising platforms.

In addition to Meta, Hims also used tracking tech from Microsoft’s Bing, Google, and Reddit, among others.
