JAMMU, July 30: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch Jammu has filed a chargesheet against two accused in a ₹7.20 lakh bank loan fraud case before the Court of City Judge Jammu, officials said on Thursday. 05/2024 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B RPC at Police Station Crime Branch EOW Jammu. According to the complaint, Abdul Hamid obtained a tractor loan of ₹7.20 lakh under the SBI Tatkal Tractor Loan Scheme for purchasing a tractor from M/s K.K. During investigation, Crime Branch found that Kulbir Singh and Abdul Hamid allegedly obtained the tractor loan by submitting fake and forged revenue documents. Crime Branch Jammu advised the public to remain vigilant against economic frauds and report such incidents to the SSP Crime Branch EOW Jammu.
