PRETORIA - 'If the Madlanga Commission calls you, you must leave the country.' That is the advice former Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) head Advocate Andrea Johnson gave to prosecutor Drushantha Ramsamy. Ramsamy appeared before the Madlanga Commission on Thursday, where she disputed Johnson's testimony. Ramsamy said she had previously wanted to make a protected disclosure; however, she made a about-turn to go public. She told the Commission that since the appointment of Advocate Andy Mothibi as National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), she and other prosecutors had become 'a little braver'.
