Train service disruptions in the Bristol area during August

Train services in the Bristol area will be disrupted for 12 days at the end of August because of major engineering work.
At Lawrence Hill station, preparatory work will be carried out in readiness for the installation of a new lift, which will significantly enhance accessibility.
Train services between Bristol Temple Meads and Filton Abbey Wood will continue as normal but will not stop at Lawrence Hill, Stapleton Road, or Ashley Down.
Saturday, 22nd to Thursday, 27th August:Trains will be replaced by buses between Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach, calling at all stations en route.
Train services between Bristol Temple Meads and Filton Abbey Wood will continue as normal, with trains also stopping at Lawrence Hill, Stapleton Road, or Ashley Down.
