Mumbai: In a tragic incident, an 18-year-old candidate from Maharashtra allegedly committed suicide by consuming rodent-killing tablets after being distressed over her NEET 2026 re-examination score. The candidate was reportedly under severe stress after failing to secure the marks needed to qualify. Medical Dialogues had reported a few days back that a 19-year-old NEET candidate committed suicide in Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar district after receiving lower-than-expected marks in the medical entrance examination.
