New Delhi: The Delhi government has recently appointed four doctors as members of the Delhi Medical Council (DMC). The Delhi Medical Council plays an important role in maintaining quality, transparency, and medical ethics in healthcare services. Delhi Medical Council is a Statutory Body under the Delhi Medical Council Act, 1997, and is vested with powers, duties, and functions of regulating the practice of the Modern Scientific System of Medicine in the NCT of Delhi. Medical Dialogues had earlier reported about the much-awaited Delhi Medical Council (DMC) elections 2026 conducted on Sunday, i.e. Thousands of registered medical practitioners exercised their voting rights at the Delhi Medical Council, Shastri Park to elect the 8-member panel of the Council.
