The homes are part of a £15.7 million scheme by First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) in partnership with the Vistry Group. The properties are being built in Fitton Hill and are intended for social rent and shared ownership. The development was recently praised by Emma Barton, Oldham Council’s deputy chief executive, during a visit to the site. These are being delivered on the site of the former Fitton Hill Secondary Modern School and are set for completion this summer. Ms Barton said the council was pleased that FCHO is delivering much-needed affordable family housing.
