Many of the snack purveyors are either from the Bay Area or got their start here, according to owner Emily Tung, who’s fastidious about the provenance of what she sells. Yun Hai’s dried fruits, she notes, come from her native Taiwan: “White guava, mangoes, pineapples — they’re all grown on family farms.”
