From the District Attorney’s Office, Lawrence Herrera of Craig was sentenced to eight years in prison on Monday, July 27, in Moffat County District Court. The Moffat County Balloon Festival is all weekend with activities especially all day Saturday, including the Memorial Regional Health 5K Color Run, Colorado Cruisers car show, Cardboard Regatta, and free bingo. Games will be played at Emerald Park, Memorial Park, Steamboat Springs Middle School and Steamboat Springs High School.
