City College Norwich will build a new teaching block at its Ipswich Road campus, adding 12 classrooms and creating space for an additional 148 students. The project, funded through the Department of Education’s Post-16 Capacity Fund, aims to meet rising demand for further education. Jennifer Eves, chief operating officer at City College Norwich, said: "This is a significant investment in the future of the college. "This funding allows us to create the capacity and environment needed to deliver high-quality education for current and future generations of students. "It ensures that the college remains well positioned to meet local skills needs and provide opportunities for learners to thrive."
