Ross Duncan, Potts Point Premier Chris Minns has outlined reforms to council zoning policies. It is really disturbing that the premier wishes to deny councils a say in how land is zoned for development. It seems if you question the Minns government’s zeal for “demolish, build out and build up” then you’re either an anti-progress reactionary or a NIMBY. Patrick McGrath, Potts Point Opposition to inappropriate high-rise development does not equate to NIMBYism. It’s time the premier started to look objectively at the development impact, not just listen to the pro-development lobbyists.
