The Genesis Mission is focused on building an integrated science discovery platform through government, industry, academia and philanthropy, the release said. The platform will combine AI, supercomputing, advanced scientific instruments and quantum systems to accelerate breakthroughs in energy, scientific discovery and national security, it said. UND representatives attended the Genesis Mission Summit on July 22 in Washington, D.C., where the inaugural cohort of projects for the initiative was announced. The UND project selected for the initiative is “Adversarial Robustness Framework for AI Models in Battery Management and Energy Science Workflows.” "Artificial intelligence is becoming an essential tool for managing increasingly complex energy systems," Zhang said in the release.
