Washington CH man sentenced to 3 years in Highland County failure to comply case

A Washington Court House man was sentenced recently to three years in prison after pleading guilty to a failure to comply charge in Highland County.
According to court records, Rickman pleaded guilty to the failure to comply charge July 9, with the tampering charge dismissed.
Rickman is also accused of “speeding up and continuing” after a Highland County Sheriff’s deputy activated the lights and sirens on his cruiser as well.
After accepting Rickman’s guilty plea, Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced him to 36 months in prison, with one day of jail time credit.
Rickman was admitted into the Correctional Reception Center in Orient July 22, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
