KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs1,000 per tola to Rs427,436, following an increase in international bullion markets. In the domestic market, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs857, reaching Rs366,457. The increase came after the international gold price rose by $10 per ounce to $4,050, boosting local bullion rates. In contrast, silver prices moved lower as the international price fell by 76 cents per ounce to $57.36. Consequently, the price of silver per tola in Pakistan declined by Rs76 to Rs6,215, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs65 to Rs5,328.
