The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy to very heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh from July 31, prompting flash flood alerts for nine districts and putting authorities on high alert.
The districts under flash flood alerts are Tawang, West Kameng, East Kameng, Kurung Kumey, Upper Subansiri, Anjaw, Dibang Valley, Tirap and Changlang.
