ROCHESTER — A home suffered significant smoke and fire damage Wednesday, July 30, 2026, in Rochester, according to the Rochester Fire Department.
At 7:32 p.m., RFD was dispatched to a report of smoke and flames coming from a garage and roof at 3070 Sherburn Place Southwest.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a single-family home with a significant fire.

Due to the amount of water used to fight the fire, firefighters placed salvage tarps over higher-value items in the home in an attempt to protect them from water damage, RFD said.
