SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has accorded administrative approval to a Rs 18.96 crore water supply scheme for the coverage part of Pulwama town under the Urban Development Sector for the 2026-27 financial year. The approval was issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department through Government Order No. The scheme has been approved under the DULBK Capex Budget 2026-27, following a communication from the Director of Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, dated July 22, 2026. The order also requires the project to use established and viable technology and comply with Central Vigilance Commission guidelines, codal provisions, financial rules and approved specifications. Electrical, mechanical and electronic components must also be technically vetted and authenticated by the competent authorities concerned.
