Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it fired several ballistic missiles at Jordan’s al-Azraq airbase, which hosts US F-35 fighter jets. It said the missiles completely destroyed three F-35 aircraft and inflicted “heavy damage” on three others. The IRGC also said the attack killed several officers and members of the base’s technical and maintenance teams. “A number of enemy officers and technical and maintenance personnel were also killed in this attack. The group said its struggle, alongside Jordan’s, would continue until “the last American occupier is expelled from the Islamic lands”.
