Infrastructure consultancy and operations partner Amey has announced plans to recruit approximately 600 professionals over the next 18 months. The firm said the move is part of a “targeted investment in the skills and capabilities required to support future growth across priority infrastructure markets”. A statement from Amey said: “The recruitment drive will strengthen its engineering capability and support its expanding portfolio of work, as clients look for trusted partners to help deliver complex programmes across transport, energy and nuclear.” The campaign will initially target approximately 200 new hires this year, with opportunities available nationwide across a broad range of consulting roles, including technical, engineering, project delivery and specialist disciplines. The business was also awarded places on the Government Commercial Agency’s £4.2bn construction professional services framework for lots including General Infrastructure, Project Management, and Defence.
