Limerick’s answer to ‘The Hoff’, Mayor John ‘Baywatch’ Moran is out there spreading the sunshine vibes around the city like a man possessed. The festivities got underway on Pery Square as the boss and his second in command, Cllr Tom Ruddle, got the beach ball out for the launch of the Summer in Limerick celebrations. In fairness to the Mayor, Limerick does need those summer dollars. Get out there and discover everything Limerick has to offer from beach-combing to sandcastle building, skinny dipping, and periwinkle picking. Summer in the City, he says, is all about creating space for conversations about our city and its future.
