AdvertisementLIMERICK singer-songwriter Cían Moore will represent Ireland on one of Australia’s biggest sporting stages this weekend after being selected to perform the Irish national anthem ahead of the AFLW International Rules clash between Ireland and Australia in Sydney.
“We were genuinely surprised when we got the call,” Mr Moore told the Limerick Post.
People have recommended us and we’ve been fortunate that the gigs have kept coming,” Mr Moore added.
His father, Zeb Moore, is an accomplished guitarist, actor, and one of the founders of the Richard Harris Film Festival.
His uncle, Paul Moore, is a musical director for Van Morrison, while his grandfather toured as a guitarist with Riverdance.
