News Investigators/ Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has received a delegation from the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) and Mota-Engil Nigeria ahead of the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kano Light Rail Project. This is contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin Tofa, on Thursday. The statement said the delegation, led by Dr Armstrong Takang of MOFI and Mr Kola Karim, Chairman of Mota-Engil Nigeria, met with the governor in Abuja. It said the delegation briefed the governor on preparations for the commencement of the project. The governor expressed the commitment of the Kano State Government to work with the Federal Government and contractors to ensure successful execution of the project.
