Police issue update on train tracks tragedy that caused death of man in his 30s

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the line near Eaglescliffe at 10.16pm on Tuesday (July 28) after reports of two casualties on the tracks.
British Transport Police previously confirmed one person was pronounced dead at the scene while another was rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries.
Cleveland Fire Brigade helped evacuate passengers from the train following the incident, while the North East Ambulance Service sent several ambulance crews to the scene.
The ambulance service said it took one person to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service added: "We were called to an incident on the train line near Eaglescliffe station shortly before 10.20pm on July 28.
