Cleveland Police say the incident happened on Rochester Road in Stockton at around 6.50pm on Wednesday, July 22, where five people were seen getting out of a Renault Scenic before setting it alight. PC Foster, from Stockton’s response team, said: “I believe the vehicle had been stolen from the Middlesbrough area the day before. “As part of the investigation I am asking for anyone who may have seen the vehicle and the people get out of it, has information or footage to please get in touch. “You can do this by calling 101 or visiting our website quoting reference number 144954.
